ARMIN VISHTEH,
M.D.
A medical doctor with specialty training
in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery, Dr. Armin Vishteh
is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
He has practiced refractive surgery since 1998 and has
performed over 14,000 LASIK and PRK procedures. Dr.
Vishteh is certified on the VISX Star, the LADARVision
4000, the Bausch and Lomb Technolas 217 and the Nidek
EC-5000 excimer lasers. He is also certified on the IntraLase Femtosecond Laser. Additionally, he has extensive
experience using different laser platforms. Recently,
Dr. Vishteh served as an investigator in the FDA study
on the Nidek EC-5000 laser for high myopia. He has been
in practice in the Inland Empire and southern California
since 2000.
After receiving his bachelor's degree
from the University of California, Los Angeles, and
his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of
Kansas, Dr. Vishteh completed his Ophthalmology training
at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit. Subsequently,
Dr. Visteh entered private practice in Dallas, Texas.
Later, he served as medical director for LCA Vision
centers in Beverly Hills, Torrance, and San Bernardino.
Dr. Vishteh actively participates
in continuing medical education courses and holds memberships
in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Association
for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He is currently on staff at Cedars-Sinai, Providence St. Joseph, and Olympia Medical Centers and dedicates time to the practice of missionary ophthalmic work in Baja, Mexico.
Dr. Vishteh holds a strong belief
in the benefits of laser vision correction. He is available
to answer any questions regarding refractive surgery
or general eye care. |
